COSTS

  • You do not have to pre-pay for your room and food costs. Those costs are part of your overall program cost that is paid for primarily by your bank loan that begins after you have started making an income in your paid internship.

  • You are responsible for paying for your own travel costs and visa costs.

  • Finding a sponsor is your own responsibility. You can ask friends and family for assistance. If you know someone who is a U.S. permanent resident or citizen who would be eligible and willing to co-sign a loan from a U.S. bank, you might qualify for an Alternative Loan.

  • They offer $1000 scholarships to individuals who score at least 90% on the quantitative section of the GRE (Graduate Record Exam) general test if it was taken no more than 24 months ago.

Application Requirements

1. Academic Requirements

You must possess a 3-4 year undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related subject from an accredited college or university with a GPA minimum of 2.7 out of 4.

With a grade point average below 2.7 you would need to take the GRE general test and score at least 70% (158) on the quantitative section to be considered for admission to our MSCS program. Learn more.

2. Work Experience

4-year degree graduates are required to have a minimum of 6 months of IT work experience.

3-year degree graduates are required to have a minimum of 2-3 years of IT work experience.

Note: Final year or graduate students with a high GPA and no work experience may apply.

3. Knowledge Level

You need to be familiar with one of these languages: C, C#, C++ or Java 8 or 9.

4. Good English Proficiency

You need to be able to read, speak and understand English well. Neither TOEFL nor IELTS is required. We do phone or Skype interviews to assess your English skills.

5. Data Science Track (Optional)

There are additional requirements for entrance into this track.

6. Graduate Record Exam (GRE)

Although not required for most countries, we strongly encourage you to take the GRE general test. A high GRE score may decrease the initial amount international students are asked to pay upon enrollment. Also, taking the GRE increases the likelihood of internationals obtaining a student visa for our program.

GRE is required from all applicants from India and Iran unless you have 2 years or more of paid professional programming work experience, and your GPA is above 3.0 (B average).
