VICTORIA UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS IN MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA.
Victoria University (VU) is proud to support hundreds of international scholarship recipients and sponsored students.
They have a range of externally-funded and university-funded scholarships to support students. Their courses for international students include vocational education and training (VET) through to undergraduate and postgraduate coursework and higher degrees by research.
A scholarship provides financial assistance during your study. Some scholarships provide a stipend that covers tuition fees and living allowances, while others provide only partial funding.
All scholarship applicants must meet VU's academic entry requirements, in addition to any eligibility requirements for their scholarship.
VU COVID-19 INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP
The VU COVID-19 International Scholarship recognises the challenges that COVID-19 is presenting to international students who wish to begin their undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework) studies in Semester 2, 2020 or Trimester 3, 2020.
How to apply: No application is required. Students are automatically assessed after submitting their application for an eligible qualification. If successful, the scholarship will be reflected in your final Letter of Offer.
Value (2020 commencement): Up to A$6000 for the first two study periods. Upon the successful completion of two semesters, students will be assessed for an extension of the scholarship based on academic performance. This is valued at $1500 per semester for the remainder of their studies. The total value of the scholarship is up to $15,000 for a four-year undergraduate degree.
Eligibility (2020 commencement): All students commencing an undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework) course with VU Melbourne in Semester 2, 2020 or Trimester 3, 2020 are eligible (please refer to terms and conditions below). Higher education diploma or VET students are not eligible for this scholarship.
VU INTERNATIONAL EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP
The VU International Excellence Scholarship recognises and rewards the achievements of commencing international students. The Scholarship is based on academic merit and requires students to have achieved results that are higher than VU’s academic entrance requirements.
How to apply: No application is required, students are automatically assessed after submitting their application for an eligible qualification. If successful, the scholarship will be reflected in your final Letter of Offer.
Eligibility: Please refer to eligibility requirements for the relevant semester and the terms and conditions below.
VALUE Vocational Education and Training (VET): A$750 per semester. The total value of the scholarship is up to A$3000 towards the total tuition fees for a two-year VET degree.
Undergraduate: A$3000 for the first two study periods. The total value of the Scholarship is up to A$12,000 towards the total tuition fees for a four-year undergraduate degree.
Postgraduate (coursework): A$3000 for the first two study periods. The total value of the scholarship is up to A$6000 towards tuition fees for a two-year postgraduate (coursework) degree.
VU INTERNATIONAL VCE SCHOLARSHIP
The International VCE Scholarship recognises and rewards international student achievement in their VCE with A$3000 for the first two study periods and up to A$12,000 towards the total tuition fees.
Study level: Bachelor degree in any discipline
Eligibility: Students must have completed their Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) in 2019 with an ATAR higher than 50.00, and be applying for entry into a Victoria University bachelor degree commencing in 2020. Recipients must maintain a 60 Weighted Average Mark (WAM), calculated after attempting every 96 credit points, in order to receive the scholarship in subsequent semesters.

Australia Awards fellowships are administered by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). These fellowships provide opportunities for fellows to undertake short-term study and professional development in Australia.
Study level: short-term study and professional development.
Eligibility: Australian organisations who are legal entities with an Australian Business Number (ABN) with links to overseas counterpart organisations in eligible developing countries may apply for an Australia Awards Fellowship.
Value: up to $25,000.

AUSTRALIA AWARDS SCHOLARSHIPS
Australia Awards scholarships are long-term development awards, offered by the Australian Government and administered by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). They aim to contribute to the long-term development needs of Australia's partner countries.

Value: tuition fees, living allowance, Overseas Student Health Cover and academic support.
