About the Leading Scholarship
The Leading Scholarship ensures that the brightest young leaders from every corner of the world have access to the One Young World Summit. This flagship scholarship is designed to recognize and support outstanding individuals who are making a real impact in their communities and beyond, especially those from under-represented countries in global forums.
If you’ve been driving initiatives that tackle pressing local or global challenges, this is your opportunity to amplify your voice on an international stage.
What’s Included in the Scholarship?
Successful applicants will receive:
- Full Delegate Access to the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich.
- Accommodation from 2–6 November 2025.
- Catering: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner during the Summit.
- Travel Costs: Return flights to and from Munich (must depart and return to the same international airport).
Please note that if you are ultimately selected for a Scholarship and require a visa to enter Germany to attend the One Young World Summit 2025, you will be required to pay the visa fee yourself. The costs of the visa as well as any further costs associated with the visa application (including travel to and from the visa application centre) fall on you as the participant.

Eligibility Criteria
You are eligible if you:
- Are aged 18–30 (applicants over 30 may be considered based on exceptional impact and initiative).
- Have a proven commitment to driving positive change.
- Demonstrate leadership capacity in your community or field.
- Are addressing critical local and/or global challenges through innovative solutions.
- Have a track record of impactful ideas and initiatives.

- Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Apply early for the best chance.
- Priority is given to applicants from under-represented countries and first-time attendees.
- Due to high application volumes, One Young World cannot respond to individual queries or provide feedback on applications.
- Sponsorship is not guaranteed for any applicant.
