Applying for awards is easy. Submit the application for each available awards competition and you’ll be considered for all the awards you are eligible for. It was Established to globalize the student experience for students attending a high school in China studying at the UofC. Encouraging cross-cultural experiences helps achieve the university’s “Eyes High” goals by creating global citizens.
Award eligibility
- Offered annually to undergraduate international students entering the first year or final year in any undergraduate degree in the upcoming fall term who have satisfied the university’s English Language Proficiency requirement. Renewable in the second, third and fourth year at the University of Calgary, provided recipients achieve a GPA of 2.60 or more over a minimum of 24.00 units in the previous fall and winter terms and continue to pay an international differential tuition fee as an international student.
- International students who are required to pay international tuition fees and who are not Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents of Canada
- Academic merit.
Eligibility for Prestige and High School Entrance Awards:
- You must first apply for admission. You will be given access to the award application 24 to 48 hours after you have submitted your application for admission
